Daily Thoughts - take 11

I have quite a few layouts to share here before I put them away, never did for some reason.  LOL  I have been really going through our house and sorting and purging, so now it is time to hit my scrapbook room.

Layout #11 - This was Vinny at about 2 years old, yep he is that strong to be able to handle Daddy's tamper. The kid is incredible and doesn't seem like he is 2 here.  This was mostly made with paints, stamps, and sprays.  Some KI tapes, SC wood veneers and Polaroid frames, and Bella products!

I will be back soon with some new layouts created with my Memorable Seasons kit for May - wow is it a good kit!  Don't forget to stop by Memorable Seasons starting Wednesday to help us celebrate NSD in a colorful way!

CropStop projects - Dream Big

"Dream Big"
This is the page that I decided to finally try out the ombre effect - I again cut multiple Memory Box Winged Swirls and laid them on my paper.  I chose 4 mist colors all in the pink color family to spray my paper.  I used the American Crafts My Girl collection to build the designs on this layout, of course there are some fussy cut elements that I added too and some stickles - gotta live the sparkle.

My daughter was so thrilled to see a stand of cakes designed by Buddy - we even had a short photo shoot with Buddy himself (or at least the cardboard version) to commemorate this occasion!

Thank you CropStop for the opportunity to work with you it has been wonderful experimenting with all the great products you sent!

CropStop projects - Freedom

"Freedom"
I started by playing with the embossing folder, Serenity Collection:  Ambrosia on some core-dinations cardstock, wow that had some great effects!  I also fussy cut some of the leaves from the pattern.  I also used the Basket Weave Template and the Tim Holtz paint dabber, with a few mists to create the brown patterns at the top and bottom of my design.  I then used my Memory box Winged Swirl die to cut out 2 of the shapes and then heat embossed them with my Zing powder.

This is our youngest when he was 1 - this was the first time he was able to get around outside as he had only just started walking, but he was thrilled!

CropStop projects - Easter Egg basket

"Easter Egg Basket"

When I saw the basket weave template I decided I wanted to make a basket to hold flowers, which became eggs instead for some home decor.  I started by using gesso and making 2 patterns on my paper with the basket weave template.  Once that dried I began cutting out the box part and added some handles on.  Then I finished assembling the basket by adding pieces on either side with flaps to keep everything sturdy.  A few flowers/eggs made the perfect Easter/spring decor item!

Daily Thoughts - take 10

I have quite a few layouts to share here before I put them away, never did for some reason.  LOL  I have been really going through our house and sorting and purging, so now it is time to hit my scrapbook room.

Layout #10 - Our six year old just recently lost a few teeth due to our boys playing too roughly - thank goodness they were baby teeth and due to come out anyway!  I used some great Pebbles from the Seen & Noted collection to create this.  The little tag says THE LITTLE THINGS really are the big things which gave me the rest especially when we're talking my teeth!  LOL

Daily thoughts - take 9

Layout #9 - I love these pictures of my youngest and Daddy - I didn't feel that they needed much to really dress them up.  My Simple Stories stash made that really easy with these great products from their Snap! collection.

CropStop projects - Love

"Love"
This layout shows my love of fussy cutting - everything!  Yep, it takes some time, but it is a total stress reliever to me when the kids are in their rooms for rest time.  I used some Photo Freedom papers, SC wood veneers, and Glitz Color Me Happy paper, along with the embossing Folder from the Fresh and Fun collection:  Smooch.  These are 2 of my boys that adore one another and ALWAYS have to be together.

I chose to fussy cut a few of the designs from the paper I embossed.

I added some ink to highlight certain pieces.

Make sure you stop on by to visit the CropStop where I am Guest Designing for the month.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Daily Thoughts - take 6

I have quite a few layouts to share here before I put them away, never did for some reason.  LOL  I have been really going through our house and sorting and purging, so now it is time to hit my scrapbook room.

Layout #6 - I used a sketch from Scrapbooks & Cards today - the circular elements totally grabbed my attention - I just had to scrap these pictures of my son playing basketball.  I used Bella goodies here.
