When your Heart Speaks

I was inspired to make this by a layout I saw Corrie Jones for American Crafts make.
It was published in Scrap365.

This was a very real page to me - exactly what I was feeling at the time using some Jillibean Soup.

I still take this same shot every Christmas!

Dream Big and Yell Louder - Bella Blvd

I know the pictures are blurry, I know I really used a lot of embellishments, but this layout is so our boy it isn't funny!  Our little guy never holds still and he thinks that yelling is the way to talk.  (I wonder if that is what his little ears hear with all the kids around him constantly?)

This was created with the Max collection by Bella Blvd!  Stop by the Bella Blvd blog to see some close-ups of this layout.

The Practically Perfect Birthday Cupcake

This was one of my favorite layouts I created for Scrap365 using Lily Bee and some Teresa Collins.

I created this cut using my Cricut and I designed it myself, so glad I now have a Cameo!

Making a big, big splash

I thought I would share a few of my published items from 2012, when my work began being picked up for various publications.  I had the pleasure of being published in Scrap365 a great magazine, with tons of interesting articles and it was printed (I believe it still is too).

I love how this one turned out (minus that I hadn't mastered photographing my layouts yet).  I was thrilled that this one was accepted, because I had ripped it apart various times trying to get it to work, lol!

Week 30 & 31 - Simple Stories

Week 30 was our Gino's 3rd birthday which was a big hit!  I used Simple Stories Birthday Sn@p! to document this happy event in our lives.

I always use the same products for my 2 pages even though they are different weeks, but since it was birthday I was a little stuck...

but, it worked!  I thought I could get away with taking a picture of the spread in the sleeve, but I guess there was a little glare, sorry about that!  I adore these clear stickers by Simple Stories, totally my favorite and I use them constantly.

Home is Where Mom is - Simple Stories

I made this using the Mom! collection from Simple Stories - simple, yet all that needed to be said to capture a precious moment when our little boy got home from the hospital.

a Series of Moments - Crate Paper

I tried my first ever Paper Camellia kit for March and it is lovely!  A whole package of the Crate Paper die-cuts which of course are some of my favorite things to play with.

I originally started this layout planning on using the sketch at Paper Camellia, but my layout kinda ran away without the sketch!  I started arranging my die-cuts in a grid formation as the sketch showed, but they began moving together until they looked like this.  I love how it turned out and I loved this kit, can't wait to see what they have for next month!

Today was LOVE - Elle's Studio

I created this with the February 2014 Elle's Studio kit and then some other goodies.  I think it is my favorite for this week (course I have another that I'll post later and it is another favorite too).

Week 28 & 29

I'm still going strong with Project Life and loving every minute of it.  I spent some time Saturday putting these two weeks together using Becky Higgins Honey edition and Bella Blvd stickers/chipboard.

Playground, fishing, friends that is what our week was about.

Disney, boys, green beans yep that makes a week!

Geek Squad - Lawn Fawn

Okay so I don't do 2 page layouts, but I couldn't get the design to fit these pictures.  So I went to a double page layout, but I cheated they are 8.5x11 much more manageable!

I used some Pink Paislee Hey Kid! and Lawn Fawn to document my son's obsession with his brother's Rainbow Loom.  He was so intent on his "work", even though the mess was horrible I couldn't resist getting some cute pictures first!

Don't you just love the Rainbow Loom I created with the mini clothespins and rubber bands?

On the Grid with Simple Stories

to be continued - American Crafts, Plus One

I have been joining in Corrie Jones' challenge each month to document myself.  Here is February's page using my new stash of Amy Tangerine's Plus One and Dear Lizzie's Daydreamer.  Loved the mix of soft and graphic, totally fits me to a T!

I have included journaling, but as it was more personal in nature this month I instead used my journaling to outline my design.  The pics of my things right now have journaling on them are open to be shown as I really am liking - fishing, this ring, my weight, and how my hair turned out when I cut it.

I fussy cut those flowers from the Plus One paper and I totally love the look they add.  The script font from Plus One is my total favorite.  Notice those nicely placed dots?  Walter and Winnie stamp set, yet again, totally my favorite ever set!

Cast On - Bella Blvd

I'm up at Bella Blvd today with a pinterest inspired layout about my newest hobby!
FISHING, yep that is me and NO I do not touch worms or fish.

Notice the little bubbles, aren't they cute?  They are by Winnie&Walter and it is a stamp I am totally impressed!

Make sure you stop by the Bella blog to see how I built my page, there was a lot of thought in assembling this page, lol!

Hooked on You - Garden Party collection by Pebbles

I love browsing through Pinterest don't you?  Both of these projects that I am sharing today came from inspiration found there.

The first is this can of worms I made for our dear friends Mr. Steve and Miss Jenni - thanks to Mr. Steve we are now fisherpeople here, lol!  Make sure you check out my post this past Monday for a close-up of the fish we catch out back in the pond.

I saw this idea to take a clear paint can and put gummy worms in it with the title hooked on you!  Course it was supposed to be for Valentine's, but it sure works great with the Garden Party collection from Pebbles.

I also have a spring wreath I created on the Pebbles blog today again inspired by Pinterest.

I have seen quite a few of these burlap wreaths and I did a little research to find the best directions possible.
Here is the best written directions I found.
This is the best picture tutorial I found.

See you tomorrow with a Pinterest inspired Bella layout!

Hello Spring using the Garden Party collection - Pebbles

I started my layout using strips cut from the 6x6 paper pad from the Garden Party collection.  I felt that the strips on the top/bottom and center of the page furthered the idea of sliding down the attraction at MGM.

I'll be up on the Pebbles blog tomorrow with another Garden Party project, see you there!

I Don't Want to Forget This - Simple Stories

Some of us from the Simple Stories DT had the chance to create for the PageMaps March sketches.  Here is my take on the sketch using the Daily Grind collection and some cute little boys!

This is a cut from the Silhouette store from Simple Stories which I cut out of the new journaling layers!
