Cuddle Party | Cocoa Daisy with Dear Lizzy

The boys were playing pat-a-cakes, and this is throw it in the oven; for some reason my little guy thinks that means to cuddle!  The title came from Finding Dory where there is a cuddle party and he loves that part.

Does the embellishment cluster look familiar?  It should as I shared it on the YouTube I created!  It was supposed to become a card, but it was perfect for this picture so I used it on my layout instead.

February card | Cocoa Daisy with Dear Lizzy

So, you my blogger readers, probably have figured out by now, that I don't make many cards...  It isn't that I can't, it's just with 6 kids there are a lot of memories to capture and that takes most of my time in layouts and Project Life pages.  But one thing that carries through to layouts, cards, Project Life cards, and even planners, are embellishment clusters.

Welcome to my card that was based on an embellishment cluster!  I've made a video to share with you on how I create clusters so enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by.

Noted XOXO | The Cut Shoppe with Cocoa Daisy and Dear Lizzy

I shared this page on the Cut Shoppe's blog this week, I love this heart cut image called Pieces of My Heart!  I used the February Cocoa Daisy kit with Dear Lizzy goodies to create a tropical layout of my daughter and the new Moana from Disney.

Hello Everyday | Cocoa Daisy with Dear Lizzy

I thought these pictures worked so well on this paper, kinda gives you that water feel don't you think?  Some cut files from Cocoa Daisy and The Cut Shoppe were the main highlights of the page.

Planner Wk26 | Cocoa Daisy

Sometimes there isn't time for creating a whole layout, but my planner is a great place to add in a little color (and creativity).

This was created with the Cocoa Daisy February kits, I LOVE this stamp set that was included in the main kit this month, totally my favorite!

Day 2 Day Captured | Cocoa Daisy with Dear Lizzy

The February Cocoa Daisy kits have some really fun pieces in them!  I began by grabbing the blue paper and yellow circle piece b/c I just liked how they looked.  I threw in a few cut files and then began playing with what PL cards would look good and allow me to tell my story.

Once I had my layout created, I wanted something subtle at the top of my page, I loved the idea of the hot air balloons, kinda like growing up/flying away theme, so to incorporate them I did a little watercolor and added in some die cut clouds.

2015-2016 Intro page | Cocoa Daisy

I have finished our August 2015-August 2016 PL album, but I always wait until the end to create the intro page, almost a summary of the year.  So my February Cocoa Daisy kit just arrived the other day and I finally found just the right items to create the summary.

I focused on the puffy stickers included in the kit; puffy stickers are my favorite, but they tend to be a little too cutesy sometimes for my liking.  By carefully thinking of placement (edges, bottom, within PL cards) I was able to use these sweet emblems without diminishing from my theme of the page.

If you haven't tried out Cocoa Daisy kits, they are always wonderful to create with.

#HomeMade | The Cut Shoppe with American Crafts

Today I am sharing a layout created for the Cut Shoppe.

I thought this picture of my boys playing with SnapChat was so cute and so I went with the cuteness even though they are boys!  A few black splashes in a visual triangle helped to make this a little bit more manly.

Planner Week - American Crafts Dear Lizzy

So I have been creating in my planner while we were away, but time has gotten away from me to post the spreads.  So, this week is going to be planner week so that I can catch up.

Week 8 focuses on American Crafts Dear Lizzy and some Crate Paper puffy stickers,
that I really love!

Hello Love Together - Dear Lizzy

I played with some of the new Dear Lizzy Documentary the other day.  I also did a little more experimenting with water coloring.  What do you think?

I think I like the softness of it and I definitely like the touches of watercoloring,
it adds just the right touch.

You Make my Heart Sing - Dear Lizzy

I used some old and new Dear Lizzy to create this and I love it!  You wouldn't think red would go, but I think it adds just the right energy to the page to really draw your eye in.  What do you think?
