Christmas projects with LYB

I was thrilled to be invited to create with Little Yellow Bicycle for their Once Upon a Christmas team.  When I got my box of goodies I knew that I wanted to create one main project, a Christmas house.  The colors of this line are so classical and rich it seemed like the perfect time to alter a paper mache house I had bought from Michael's.  Then I created a tree because I loved the greens so much.  When I put the two item together on my table I knew that they needed to be put together and so my Christmas Village was born!

I loved the hanging wreaths on this paper and the frame was perfect to nestle the picture of my kids underneath the tree.  I used some of the great chipboard and clear cuts to dress up the design.  The vellum tapes are wonderful and loved the splash of color they added.

And my last layout was created from the Vintage band paper, I knew I wanted to use the strip with the kids and highlight our kids and I wanted to tie in our Christmas tree.  With the addition of some chipboard pieces, journaling pieces, clear cuts and a few border punches the perfect layout to showcase our Christmas was born.

Thanks so much Little Yellow Bicycle for the opportunity to cycle with you, it was an honor!

  1. I just love your 3-D projects, so inspiring! That house and tree are terrific. I actually had a porcelain village growing up and this scene reminds me of it. Awesome pages to boot! Those wreaths are adorable, may just be lifting that idea soon.
