March Planner FlipThrough and Giveaway! Cocoa Daisy

Today I am sharing a personal look at my Happy Planner.  You might have seen me decorate my Happy Planner, but I thought I'd take you for a closer look at its actual job in my planner family.  I've included a YouTube video at the end which walks you through all the planners I have used this month and a giveaway!

I started using a Happy Planner after scoffing at the whole planner move; I couldn't figure out why anyone would waste time to decorate a planner that was to help you stay on track!  All of a sudden, I didn't have time to scrapbook and I needed to get creative and so I began decorating my Happy Planner and I was hooked, that was back in April of 2016!

Each month I decorate my Happy Planner and then I keep my HP beside my bed and I use it to document my thoughts, hopes/dreams, everyday moments, gratitude, whatever is striking my heart at that time.  I love that I have 2 years of my thoughts recorded and it has really served to help me process many of my life's events.

Here are some of my March pages all prepped and ready for the pen!  This one was pages from the Standard Cocoa Daisy TN that I pasted into my HP...

This was a super fun page as I actually ran my HP pages through my printer to print the Cocoa Daisy printables (A5) onto the page!

So what does it look like when the page meets the pen?
On this page I added in a 4x6 card as further inspiration.

This month I actually added another step to my memory keeping with the HP pocket protectors
(both the classical and mini fit).

Thanks for joining me today; I hope you have enjoyed this up close and personal look in my planner!  Now on to my March video and giveaway, hope to see you there!

February Happy Planner set-up | Cocoa Daisy

Today I am sharing my February Happy Planner set-up with all the Cocoa Daisy goodies.  I fell in love with the Happy Planner 3 years ago and haven't looked back, but then I found the CD planner kits and fell in love with them too.  So how do you integrate these two loves and make them work for you?  I am looking at 3 different ways today in my set-up for the month and I've included a video for you to watch.

1.  Embellish the page:  with this approach I rely on fussy cutting of the A5 planner pages, washi, stamps, stickers, and die-cuts to create a Cocoa Daisy inspired page.

2.  Mixing the media:  with this approach I use some gel crayons, ink, stamps, and paint to further make my pages look like they were printed by Cocoa Daisy.

3.  Use the A5 pages as they come:  Did you know you can use the A5 pages with some washi tape and just put them right into your planner!  This is a new one for me and it is super quick and easy.

Here is my video where I walk you through how I created my pages.

Here are some pictures of what my finished January planner pages look like after I've decorated and written in it, aren't they pretty?
