(stop back by to see the rest tomorrow):
I thought it would be fun to share the steps I took to create this layout...
I began by picking my papers/products. I really liked how the grey matched the sand and the bluish paper was like the sky. The stripes were just full of energy as are my boys!
I have seen a trend with my work lately, I always start with a block that is my main focus for the page, whether papers, pictures, or large titles. So here is my block that started my page.
Next I added in 2 different journaling cards and a few stickers. This would be a great place to stop - just add some journaling and you've got a nice page.
Or... Take a look at some details that I added next to bump my layout to the next level.
Stamping as my journaling!
Pops of washi tape with a the bold black color.
A red arrow (that was sitting on my desk) and more titlework.
And one last look at my final layout
I hope you've enjoyed my thought process - if you are new here, you can add my blog to your feedly or bloglovin' feeds (info on sidebar at right), join me on my scrappy FB page, or say hello on instagram!
And one last thing, remember to leave a comment to be entered into the prize drawings!
We would love it if you would follow us on Facebook, too.
