Our Future - Hip Kit Club with My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper

I loved this picture that I took from our room at Mouse before we left FL, so full of life and the hope for a future.  I can say our future gives me butterflies, but here we are living it out!

I created this page with the Hip Kit Club January kits.

Be Happy layout with Process video - My Mind's Eye

I took a "Spring Break" and decided to scrap with some of the goodies I've purchased.  I love My Mind's Eye and finally chose to buy a few pieces of the On Trend collection.  Here is what I created with those pieces.

I also created a process video!  So this is a silent movie right now as I haven't figured all this video stuff out yet, but it is a start.  Let me know what you think of the video so I can tweak things for the next one.

Just Be You - Hip Kit Club

I played along with the weekend challenge at Hip Kit Club and created this layout.

I had actually already started the layout, the basic building blocks were in place, but I was still waiting for the inspiration to hit to really give this layout the umph it needed.  When I saw the challenge with the colors of red/orange, blue, teal I decided to add in a few pops of color to really bring the energy up on the layout.  I added in a trail of stars and splatters to lead your eye through the page.  Notice that I did a little multi-tasking with using the negatives from the star punches.

You have until Thursday to complete the next weekend challenge, stop by and join us!

Little Boys and Stinky Feet - My Mind's Eye

I had to play today; so I left all of my responsibilities to get a little play time in today and I am feeling much better now!  :)  I started with the My Mind's Eye challenge to document gratitude.

I have so much to be grateful for, enough to blow your mind in all that is going on in our lives.  I chose this cute little picture of some of my boys because sometimes I forget how blessed I am and just want to pull my hair out (with 6 at home all day everyday I'm sure you can imagine)!

I had played with these black and white strips earlier, but today it clicked.
I had the title in my mind for a few days, couldn't resist with that foot right in the picture.

A little bit of fussy cutting to remember the Good Times!

Oh Happy Day - My Mind's Eye

I shared on Saturday a layout I created for the My Mind's Eye sketch challenge, but that was actually the second layout that resulted from the sketch.  Here is the first layout I created about my boys.  I wanted to use the blue in the pictures, but I didn't have any in my stash.  Guess I had better add go get some for next time!

Awesome Dream - My Mind's Eye

I had a little free time and some pictures of Tracy's dance recital to finish scrapping so I joined in with the My Mind's Eye sketch challenge.

The sketch called for 3 pictures, but when I laid the picture of my daughter on the page I had a lightbulb moment and decided to fussy cut her out.  I added some fussy cut flowers and some gold accents from my Anna Griffin stash to further the dreamy feel.  I loved the Broadway picture, even though it wasn't a picture of my daughter specifically it added to the dream theme I wanted to work on.
